April Running lately
60… Was when I started running.
It came as a
surprise, whilst I was still working,
On my break,
running late, and to show there’s no shirking;
I ran back.
It came as a
surprise to know that..
Actually… I
can run.
SO…
Trainers. Jogging bottoms.
Funny
t-shirt too.
Routes
planned a few.
And park
runs new.
First
Saturday on the Common.
More
trainers. (now decent trainers – not just beginners)
And medals.
(for charity runs – not just for winners)
70.. (nearly) Now it’s a thing that I do.
Running.
Spreadsheets;
records; little sprints; 5k run,
But it gets
harder to motivate and is less fun.
Injuries;
harder to recover from as I get older;
Stretches;
warm ups; warm downs.
I don’t want
to go when its colder.
9AM..
Tomorrow.
I haven’t been
in a race for months..
And it’s
windy and chill.
Should I get
up early still?
Or will I
bottle it once again?
If it looks
like its gonna rain..
